Choosing a pose for your work of art can be intimidating. With 15+ years of experience making custom commissioned artwork, I have a keen ability to discern what is most important to you and how to capture it on canvas..
We start with a conversation. How did you meet? What do you love about one another? Is it important to have family in the painting, or are we looking for that little look you give one another when you share a thought?
A photograph tends to have crisp edges and saturated colors. This is not a replacement for their services- rather, a different artistic lens and interpretation focusing on emotions, color, and expression.
My signature style is dreamy and soft, informed by master impressionist painters like Monet, Renoir, and Van Gogh. They too sought to look beyond the photo and into the spirit of the subject. They saw nature as an integral part of the spirit, using light to cast focus and warmth, conveying emotions as well as the true appearance.
